Chessmen have a 3.25" King height and a 1" base. Chessmen on 15.5" Cherry Stained Chest Bronze/Silver chess board with 1.5" squares.

Pressed Leather Chess Board, Map, and Black. Possible dimensions include; 10.5"x10.5"x .5" with 1" (25mm) squares, 13"x13"x .5" with 1.3" (35mm) squares, 15.5"x15.5"x .5" with 1.75" (45mm) squares, 18"x18"x .5" with 1.75" (45mm) squares. Made in Italy. Board has a black stripe border and frame embossed with clovers. Tan spaces are pressed with images of maps from bygone eras. Faux leather has palpable texture.

Metal Isle of Lewis chess pieces. The chess pieces show the strong cultural and political connections between the kingdoms of the British Isles and Scandinavia in the Middle Ages. The King height is 3.5". Well weighted and the finished with a felt underlay.  The metallic Isle of Lewis is something to behold. They are approximately double the weight of the crushed marble versions. The metallic sets are still produced from resin but with the introduction of pewter and copper filings into the mix. Once the pieces are polished they take on the appearance of metallic pewter and copper.

Pieces include Abraham Lincoln as 3.25" Blue King with Generals as Queens with a 1" base. On 15" Walnut/Maple Chest with a convenient storage drawer beneath the board and 1.5" squares.

This magnificent Renaissance-style chess set features metal chessmen with a 5.5" tall king (base is 1.5" and felted).

The 22" chessboard is in Elm Burlwood with a Golden Metal Trim and 2" squares.
