Process:

  Each "pyramid" is carefully cut out of a block of wood, a concave dome is notched out at the top and then an interesting texture is created on the sides. And then the "pyramids" are attached to float above the backer. Look carefully and you'll see that each "pyramid" is a different shape, with a different sized circle at the peak. The piece reflects movement and change.

This triptych is created by gluing pieces of wood together and then the one size is cut on each of the pieces, to expose the interesting end grain, which is unique for every piece of wood.

  Three fabricated strips of reclaimed wood, tung oiled and twisted and inserted into the charred slots of the vertical supports. The strips are held in place with sleek wooden plugs.

  The wood frame is fabricated, charred, epoxy hardened and painted. The remnants of construction debris are carefully layed out and then eco-resin is poured over the pieces. After it's hardened, it is sanded and polished.
